Our experience providing comprehensive investment management and financial planning services for individuals, families, and small businesses began with Smith Barney's downtown Seattle office in 1994.
I began my professional career as a Financial Advisor in 1994 with Smith Barney in downtown Seattle. In 2008, the year after the financial crisis began, I was awarded the ‘Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager Award’, nominated by clients and peers. In 2009 I went on to found Mt. Baker Capital llc to re-focus my work for client's as their fiduciary, moving on from the brokerage and banking orientation that Smith Barney had evolved to. At Mt. Baker Capital, we strongly believe that our core efforts are our client's best interests, and these are best served through simple, straight-forward, comprehensive financial plannning and investment management. We avoid the product oriented, one-size-fits-all approach that is too often found in the banking, brokerage and insurance industries. We believe all investments are driven by thoughtful and careful financial plans that are kept fresh through regular communication with you, our clients.
